The device has rectangular control keys (12A-12H) maintained on a base (10) and sliding on the base, and a detection unit i.e. touch-sensitive faceplate (14), for detecting action control of each control key. The control keys are arranged such that the control keys are repositioned on the base. The control key is provided with an identification unit i.e. relief structure. The identification unit permits the detection unit to identify the pressed control key independent from its location.
