The strip (1) has an assembling unit assembling models (3-9) of the strip on a solar furnace frame to form a fan shaped parabolic reflector of a solar furnace, where the furnace frame is provided with a circular ring (10) and a punctual node (11). The assembling unit comprises a passage hole (2) that is formed between edges for allowing passage of a pot-holding rod (12) of the solar furnace, where the pot-holding rod is fixed on the solar furnace frame. Recesses are formed on the corresponding edges of the strip. An independent claim is also included for a method for fabricating a solar furnace.
