A system used to identify pupils, record information on their attendance, timekeeping, behaviour, accumulated merit points, accumulated 'golden' time, and accumulated 'detention' time and report some or all of this information to school management and/or parents The system incorporates the following: pupils' and teachers' means of identification. These could be RFID, barcode, magnetic strip or biometric. These means of identification could be attached to a card, wrist strap, homework diary/planner etc. This means of identification is used to activate and log onto a device having a touch screen and connected to a computer via USB cable, Infrared, or Radio Frequency (RF). This device will be used to communicate with the computer and will incorporate a means of reading both the teacher's and pupil's means of identification. The computer together with other computers in an education establishment, such as a school, will be connected to a main server and printer. This server will store individual pupils/students unique records which can in turn be accessed by members of staff.
