PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a saccharification treatment agent and a saccharification method for subjecting a substance containing cellulose, hemicellulose and lignin and the crushed fine powder of a waste mushroom bed to oxidizing phosphate-producing and hydrolyzing reactions with a mixture solution of hydrogen peroxide-containing phosphoric acid solution with a pineapple enzyme in a low cost installation under the consideration of environments and safety to produce monosaccharides of glucose (C6H12O6), mannose (C6H12O6), fructose (C6H12O6) and xylose (C5H10O5) in a short time.;SOLUTION: The saccharification treatment agent and the saccharification method comprise easily subjecting lignin-containing plants such as waste mushroom bed to a crushing treatment at a relatively low temperature with hydrogen peroxide and a pineapple enzyme having a high oxidation-degradation activity catalyst efficacy in a strongly acidic region in an ortho phosphoric acid solution, oxidizing the product to produce a phosphate, and then hydrolyzing the phosphate to produce monosaccharides such as glucose, mannose, fructose and xylose.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
