PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for exchange to LED light source in a 407 sign, capable of performing replacement of a fluorescent lamp light source with an LED light source by field operation, and to provide the 407 sign.;SOLUTION: A vertical stay 22 supporting the fluorescent lamp light source is disposed inside a display plate 2 of the 407 sign 1. An insert hole 112 for mounting an LED substrate mounting plate 11 on the vertical stay 22 is preliminarily formed in the mounting plate 11. The LED substrate 10 has a plurality of columns, and in each of the columns, a number of LED light sources 101 are serially connected and constant current elements are arranged at the ends thereof. The mounting plate 11 mounted with the LED substrate 10 is carried to a construction site, the fluorescent lamp light source is removed, a mounting hole 221 for the LED substrate mounting plate 11 is formed in the vertical stay 22, and the mounting plate 11 is mounted in a pair on both sides of the vertical stay 22, whereby the fluorescent lamp light source is replaced with the LED light sources 101.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
