PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-based mold release agent for die casting, which reduces production of gas derived from mold release agent even when being brought into contact with the molten metal of aluminum or the like, and can achieve excellent mold releasability even in severe conditions, e.g., under high vacuum.;SOLUTION: In the water-based mold release agent applied to the cavity face of a die casting mold: (A) neopentyl polyol ester wax solid at ordinary temperature; (B) inorganic fine particles with the average particle diameter of ≤0.05 μm; and (C) an adhesion improving agent for increasing the adhesion to the cavity face are dispersed and incorporated into a water-based medium.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
