PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for automatically optimizing a handover threshold of a wireless LAN terminal, capable of automatically optimizing the handover threshold.;SOLUTION: A packet loss value B before handover and a packet loss value A, after the handover are measured; and when it is such that BA, the handover threshold is raised by an adjusted value M; and when it is not BA, the threshold is lowered by M. In first processing consisting of processing of steps A1-A8, packet loss values for N times are stored, by measuring the packet loss value before the handover for N times. In second processing consisting of processing of steps A9-A16, packet loss values for N times are stored, by measuring the packet loss value after the handover for N times.
