PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of building a columnar soil improvement pile in which a solidification material used for the pile is put in a vacant hole provided by eliminating the soil not used for the pile, and the excavated soil is mixed with the solidification material while digging down the hole by an excavator to efficiently build the pile without press-fitting the solidification material.;SOLUTION: This device used for building the columnar soil improvement pile includes the excavator 10 in which only an excavating blade 13 is attached to the bottom end of a drive device through a shaft and a screw device 20 for conveying the soil to the upper side of the hole while mixing the soil with the solidification material. The soil mixed with the solidification material is moved from the lower part of the excavated hole upward by the screw device to perform the mixing action while vertically moving the soil in the hole.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
