PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deoxidizing coating agent capable of being easily coated on an intended substrate, giving a coated film laminated on a substrate with good adhesion. PSOLUTION: The deoxidizing coating agent comprises an organic deoxidant, a polyolefin resin containing a unit comprising an olefinic hydrocarbon unit and an amino group, an acidic compound and an aqueous medium. The unit comprising an amino group especially preferably has an N-substituted imide unit derived from an unsaturated carboxylic anhydride unit and a substituent represented by a specific formula as the N-substituent.
