PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable to predict the malfunction and deterioration of a main gas valve on a daily basis. In accordance with an exhaust gas temperature detected by an exhaust gas temperature sensor 10 provided in an exhaust gas exhaust passage 9 in each cylinder of the gas engine and a knocking value detected by a knocking sensor 14 provided in each cylinder of the gas engine, a control device 15 sets an injection offset value for every cylinder. A personal computer 18 in a remote monitoring room 17 is used for calculating the injection offset value for every cylinder, extracted for one day, as an average injection offset value. A variation of the daily average injection offset value is monitored to determine whether the main gas valve 11 is malfunctioned or not.
