METHOD FOR INDUCING CALLUS OF SEDUM SARMENTOSUM BUNGE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that: in People's Republic of China, although the efficacies on the fever alleviation and detoxifying effects, acute hepatitis, jaundice, etc. of Sedum sarmentosum bunge have been known from old times and this plant has been used as a medicine for hepatitis for patients suffered from hepatitis, ingredients of Sedum sarmentosum bunge have not still been clear, and it is the current situation that the isolation method and the production method for Sarmentosine have not been established as well, further, currently, it is difficult to easily chemically synthesize Sarmentosine and also very difficult to mass-produce it, and in addition, it has been impossible to induce the callus of Sedum sarmentosum burge by conventional callus-inducing methods.;SOLUTION: A method for inducing the callus of Sedum sarmentosum bunge by using an agar-agar medium containing 2.0-4.0 ppm of 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid, 1.0-2.0% of sucrose and 1.5-3.0% of agar-agar, is provided.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
