PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel polysilsesquioxane having a ladder structure exhibiting superior thermal and mechanical characteristics, unlike the prior arts, and suitable for application to an organic electronic element such as an OLED (Organic Light-Emitting Diode) and an organic solar cell, and to provide a production method of the polysilsesquioxane.;SOLUTION: The polysilsesquioxane has a ladder structure in which a substituted or unsubstituted aromatic heterocyclic group is bonded to a siloxane main chain. The disclosed polysilsesquioxane exhibits superior thermal and mechanical characteristics as well as has various functionalities and properties depending on photoactive groups introduced thereto. The polysilsesquioxane can be used as various types of industrial new materials in which organic-inorganic hybrid materials are applied.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
