PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an iron ion feeding material for feeding soluble iron easily ingestible by plants into water and soil for a long period.;SOLUTION: This iron ion feeding material contains (A) a ferric oxide and/or metallic iron-containing substance (including a substance comprising only ferric oxide and/or metallic iron), and (B) gluconic acid and glutamic acid as organic acid.
