PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for generating an image using a radiation image detector which enables the acquisition of an effective offset correction value by reading of dark once, the radiation image detector, and a radiation image generation system.;SOLUTION: The method for generating an image using the radiation image detector 1 which reads output values of a plurality of photoelectric conversion elements 14 arranged two-dimensionally comprises a subject photographing step S1 of reading the output values of the respective photoelectric conversion elements 14 which have photographed the subject, a dark reading step S2 of reading dark at least once before and after the subject photographing step S1, a correction value calculation step S3 of calculating an offset correction value O with respect to the photoelectric conversion element 14 on the basis of a dark read value D of the certain photoelectric conversion element 14 and each dark read value D of the other photoelectric conversion elements 14 in a characteristic relation similar to the photoelectric conversion element 14, and an image data generation step S4 of generating image data I by subtracting the offset correction value O from the output value which has photographed the subject.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
