PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve various problems in a brazing filler metal installation and coating method, and to provide new paste for brazing joining and a new application method therefor.;SOLUTION: The paste for brazing joining is characterized in that, by mass (hereinafter, referred to as %), a 5 to 25% water soluble binder composed of water of 93 to 98%, water soluble synthetic resin powder of 2.0 to 6.5% and sodium tetraborate decahydrate of 0.1 to 0.6%, and 75 to 95% metal powder for brazing joining are mixed, and, if required, an urethane resin or/and an acrylic resin are mixed with ≤6.0% of the water soluble binder.
