DEVICE AND METHOD FOR ESTIMATION OF EMOTIONAL POLARITY, AND EMOTIONAL POLARITY ESTIMATION PROCESSING PROGRAM

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately perform automatic estimation of emotional polarity of a language expression written in an overall text or one sentence. PSOLUTION: A logical formula describing a relationship between hidden predicates showing properties to be estimated is stored as a logical formula used for estimation of emotional polarity. A learning corpus data storing unit stores learning corpus data for learning weighting of an emotional polarity estimation logical formula for simultaneously estimating one-sentence emotional polarity and text-overall emotional polarity by a Markov logic network constituted by the stored logical formula. A learning processing module learns, with respect to the Markov logic network, the weighting of the emotional polarity estimation logical formula for simultaneously estimating one-sentence emotional polarity and text-overall emotional polarity by use of the stored learning corpus data. Resulting weighting data for the emotional polarity estimation logical formula is stored. With respect to stored text data, the one-sentence emotional polarity and the text-overall emotional polarity are simultaneously estimated by use of the stored weighting data for the emotional polarity estimation logical formula.
