FUNDUS PHOTOGRAPHING SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PROCESSING THREE-DIMENSIONAL FUNDUS IMAGE

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily acquire a fundus image with stereoscopic effects for its observation in best conditions. PSOLUTION: Data for a pair of the left and right optical fundus images with the parallax quantity to a subject eye of 2 to 4 mm and the field angle of 40 or above are acquired through the automatic alignment control of the system photographing part for the subject eye. The data are stored in memory as the fundus image data for three-dimensional observation. Then the scope of the fundus image data without flares is decided and cut out by using a predetermined image processing software so that their three-dimensional observation may be possible on a monitor.
