PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform efficient communication in a transmitter transmitting signals according to a DSTBC system.;SOLUTION: A DSTBC encoder includes: a state transition table (13) having a number corresponding to an input bit sequence and a state number preceding the corresponding time by a predetermined time as input values and a state number of the corresponding time as an output value; a state-symbol index table (15) having the state number outputted from the state transition table as an input value and a symbol index as an output value; and symbol index-symbol value tables (16-1 to 16-4) having the symbol index outputted from the state-symbol index table as an input value and a symbol value as an output value.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
