PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems in a ground reinforcing method with known crushed stone piles wherein a crushed stone throw-in time is long, the filled amount of crushed stones into an excavated hole is greatly influenced by the soft degree of the ground and moreover it is necessary to perform costly work such as a complicated process for obtaining a predetermined N-value in the ground of a ground surface part.;SOLUTION: This ground reinforcing method with crushed stone piles is carried out by: repeatedly performing a process for supplying the filled amount of crushed stones of predetermined strength for the crushed stone pile, to a crushed stone throw-in hopper H installed at the opening end of the excavated hole 1, and compacting the crushed stones S while supplying the crushed stones S almost continuously at the controlled rotating speed and lifting speed from the bottom face to the opening end by reverse rotation of a drill D to reinforce the ground; inserting a crushed stone pile head reinforcing pipe of moderate length into the ground around the head of the crushed stone pile 2; then placing a special driving tool and applying impact to the tool to insert the pipe into the ground of the head of the crushed stone pile 2 by about 400 mm; and surely dividing crushed stone pile head from the soft ground to surely obtain predetermined strength even at the crushed stone pile head.
