PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water feeding pump control device and a water feeding pump control method, which reduce leakage of tap water stored in water supply equipment when leakage occurs by a disaster in the water supply equipment and fire extinguishing equipment.;SOLUTION: This water feeding pump control device for controlling a water feeding pump supplying the tap water stored in a water receiving tank to an elevated water tank includes: an operation control means 132 controlling operation of the water feeding pump 114 in accordance with input from a sensor 154 disposed in the elevated water tank 122; a recording means 134 recording operation information of the water feeding pump 114 as operation result data in association with time information; an arithmetic means 138 analyzing the operation result data and calculating a stop condition including a threshold suggesting the occurrence of leakage related to a load amount of the water feeding pump 114; and a stop determining means 140 determining whether or not the stop condition is satisfied and stopping operation of the water feeding pump 114 regardless of control by the operation control means 132 when the stop condition is satisfied.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
