PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust gas denitration method in combustion treatment facilities, a method that can surely reduce NOx quantity exhausted outside from a secondary combustion section.;SOLUTION: In the method, there are implemented: a secondary air supply step for supplying secondary air into a secondary combustion section 2c; a carbon monoxide concentration detection step for detecting concentration of carbon monoxide in exhaust gas introduced from a melting furnace 2 to the secondary combustion section 2c, in a part upstream from a part where the secondary air is supplied of the secondary combustion section 2c; a reducing agent supply step for supplying a reducing agent to a part downstream from a part where the concentration of the carbon monoxide is detected of the secondary combustion section 2c; and a reducing agent quantity determination step for determining a quantity of the reducing agent supplied to the secondary combustion section 2c.
