METHOD FOR IRRADIATING LIGHT IN FIELD AND SYSTEM FOR IRRADIATING LIGHT FOR FIELD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To aim at the improvement of the effect of insect pests control by natural enemy insects in a method for irradiating light in a field and system for irradiating the light for the field by irradiating an attracting light for the natural enemy insects preying on insect pests.;SOLUTION: This system 1 for irradiating the light for the field is equipped with illuminator rows 21 installed in the upper direction of each of a plurality of furrows R1 in the field F1 and irradiating the attracting light and a controller 3 for regulating the lighting of the illuminator rows 21 for each of the rows. The controller 3 lights ON and OFF the illuminator rows 21 one by one from the starting time to finishing time of the predetermined lighting period including the sunset time. Thereby, it is possible to move the illuminating space of the attracting light by the illuminator rows 21 before and after the sun set. Therefore, it is possible to move the natural enemy insects attracted by the attracting light, consume energy by the movements and make them in a hungry state. Thus, the insect pests-preying action of the natural enemy insects can be activated from next day and afterwards, and as a result, it is possible to aim at the improvement of the insect pests-controlling effect.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
