PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for reducing loads exerted on models at starting and stopping a wind tunnel, which uses a simple mechanism to satisfactorily reduce the impact loads exerted on models at starting and stopping the wind tunnel.;SOLUTION: Protrusions 30u and 30L are provided for a wall surface of the wind tunnel separated by L=1200 mm from the model 10 on the upstream side of the wind tunnel, in such a way as to be capable of being housed in the wall surface of the wind tunnel, in a blowout supersonic wind tunnel having a 1 m×1 m square-form cross section of a measurement section.
