PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a front bumper for a medium size truck by modifying a front bumper for a large size truck.;SOLUTION: A method for modifying the front bumper of a large size truck to the front bumper of a medium size truck includes: a cut-off step cutting off the center part of the existing front bumper of the large size truck 1, with both ends being bent inward, long, and with frame holes 3 for illuminating lamp being opened in both ends; a reinforcement exfoliation step tearing off reinforcements attached to the rear surface of a pair of right and left bumper half pieces 1A obtained by the cutting off step leaving stay attaching parts 9; an attaching stay attaching step arranging attaching stays 11 for corresponding front bumper for the medium size truck V to the stay attaching parts 9; a joining step forming a short front bumper material for the medium size truck Va by joining the pair of bumper half pieces 1A by welding; and a decorative finishing step performing decorative finishing on the surface of the bumper material for the medium size truck Va.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
