PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of removing a humic colored substance from wastewater more simply and economically than a conventional technique and also capable of reusing the recovered substance. PSOLUTION: The method for treating the wastewater containing the humic colored substance comprises installing a fibrous material in which a cationic monomer is graft-polymerized to a stem fiber in the wastewater containing the humic colored substance, thus making the fibrous material adsorb the humic colored substance and remove the substance from the wastewater and the system for treating the wastewater containing the humic colored substance including the method.
