PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology of electric brake control which can reduce occurrence of vibration and sound not anticipated by a driver due to the performance of his or her unintended pedal operation.;SOLUTION: Brake fluid pressure generated in a master cylinder 40 is controlled by assisting, through driving of an electric actuator 20, operational thrust force input into a main piston 11 from a brake pedal 50. If, at this time, the tread force T applied to the brake pedal 50 is equal to a threshold value of tread force (d) or below, the driving of the electric actuator 20 is controlled so as to become small compared with a case where the tread force T is larger than the threshold value of tread force (d).;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
