PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color gamut contour calculation device for accurately obtaining a color gamut contour used in a color conversion device that converts a color outside a color reproduction range to a color in an intended color reproduction range by considering a black generation condition. PSOLUTION: A contour point generation unit 21 generates a contour point in an output color space of an output device. A contour point conversion unit 22 converts the contour point in the output color space to a contour point in a perceptual color space. A black amount calculation unit 23 calculates a black amount corresponding to the contour point in the perceptual color space, which is obtained by conversion through the contour point conversion unit 22. The black amount calculated by the black amount calculation unit 23 and that of the contour point in the output color space are compared by a comparison unit 24, and if they are not in an error range, the contour point in the output color space is corrected by a correction unit 25, the resultant is transferred to the contour point conversion unit 22, and the process is repeated.
