PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide inexpensive and durable polarizer array, a polarization sensor, and a polarization analysis device using the same.;SOLUTION: A polarization diffraction grating array includes a plurality of polarization diffraction gratings 11 in each of which an optical medium 12 having birefringence of an ordinary ray refractive index no and an extraordinary ray refractive index ne and an isotropic medium 13 having the refractive index no or ne are periodically and alternately arrayed and diffracts only one of ordinary ray polarized light and extraordinary ray polarized light. The plurality of polarization diffraction gratings 11 are disposed in one surface so that at least two kinds of directions in which the optical medium having birefringence and the isotropic medium are alternately arrayed are present.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
