PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing dried sweet herb or dried medical herb, and a method for increasing active components of chlorophyll and pigment and active components of fragrance of leaves and flowers by irradiation with infrared rays or far infrared rays and oxidizing and reducing action with magnetic materials and fixing the product in a leaf composition, thereby utilizing unused resources.;SOLUTION: Tree leaves, flowers, green tea leaves, black tea leaves and herbs are put into a vessel obtained by coating whole inner surface of a porcelain vessel with fine powder of a magnetic material or Mn-Zn ferrite and sintering the product, and the vessel has a structure to heat the leaves, etc., with 2.45 GHz microwave to generate eddy-current loss and induction heating effect. The 2.45 GHz microwave is converted to infrared rays or far infrared rays having a wavelength of 2-100 μm by magnetic resonance, and the tree leaves are heated and dried to fix the active components of fragrance of the leaves and active components such as chlorophyll and pigments of the leaves and flowers in the composition of the leaves.
