PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnification endoscope capable of adjusting the moving speed of a movable lens group according to the magnification or focal length of an objective optical system.;SOLUTION: An electronic endoscope including the objective optical system having the movable lens group in a hard tip portion of an internal insertion section, further includes: a lens moving mechanism movably retaining the movable lens group of the objective optical system along the optical axis; a lens driving source provided inside an operation section; a power transmission member transmitting the power of the lens driving source to the lens moving mechanism; a lens position detecting means detecting the position of the movable lens group; and a control means controlling the moving speed of the lens driving source on the basis of the lens position detected by the lens position detecting means.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
