PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tunnel construction method which enables a channel for an underground heat exchanging system to be installed concurrently with concrete lining.;SOLUTION: In tunnel construction, the underground heat exchanging system is formed to transfer thermally-exchanged heat to a distant position via a circulating fluid, so that the heat can be exchanged with an underground area of the outer periphery of the concrete lining 2, before or midway through the concrete lining 2. A wire net unit 10, to which a pipe 12 for the underground heat exchanging system is fixed, is embedded as a heat exchange unit in the concrete lining 2.
