PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solar cell having stable characteristics by eliminating a floating potential on a light-receiving surface.;SOLUTION: A back-junction type solar cell includes: a linear n-type region 3 and a p-type region 4 formed on a non-light-receiving-surface side of an n-type single-crystal silicon substrate 1; an n electrode 6 connected to the n-type region 3; a p electrode 7 connected to the p-type region 4; a passivation film 8 formed on a light-receiving-surface side of the substrate 1; and a transparent conductive film 9 formed on the passivation film 8.
