PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite in which a stainless-steel plate and a thermoplastic resin composition are bonded, and the thermoplastic resin composition has an excellent adhesion.;SOLUTION: A stainless-steel plate is immersed in a treatment solution in which an oxidative compound is dissolved in an aqueous solution of ferric chloride to form a plurality of pits on the surface of the stainless-steel plate. Not less than 60% by piece of the pits formed have a ratio of a maximum size D1 within the pit to a size D2 of a pit opening (D1/D2) of ≥1.05. The ratio (Dt/D0) of an average thickness D0 of the oxide film on the surface of the stainless plate before the immersion and an average thickness Dt of the oxide film on the surface of the stainless plate after the immersion is ≥1.1. The composite is manufactured by putting the surface-roughened stainless-steel plate in an injection molding mold and injecting a thermoplastic resin composition into the mold.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
