PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a breakage detecting device of window glass for a vehicle whose mounting position is hardly limited.;SOLUTION: An energizing member 40 made of a spring steel plate is structured with a vehicle body side arrangement part 41 arranged at a vehicle body side and a window glass side arrangement part 42 arranged at the one face side of a window glass 5 connected by an arm part 43 of a circular arc shape. The vehicle body side arrangement part 41 of the energizing member 40 is installed to a window glass bracket 22, which holds the window glass 5 in a window regulator that actuates the opening and closing of the window glass 5. The energizing member 40 is mounted in a state of connecting the one face of the window glass 5 of a vehicle to the window glass bracket 22 of the window regulator and displaced with the breakage of the window glass 5 energizing the one face of the window glass 5.
