PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for producing methane gas from methane hydrate which enables more efficient production of the methane gas from the methane hydrate without changing conditions of temperature and pressure, and a method for producing the methane gas from the methane hydrate using the same.;SOLUTION: The device for producing the methane gas from the methane hydrate comprises: a plurality of dissociation chambers 22 formed in a cylindrical shape and integrally arranged side by side so as to direct their axis lines O1 in the same direction; a water collection chamber 23 formed with a cylindrical side wall 23a and a top plate 23b, and having water collection rooms 25 inside communicated with the insides of the plurality of dissociation chambers 22; a water jet mechanism 24 provided with a plurality of injection pipes 27, 28 each disposed in the circumferential direction of the respective dissociation chamber 22; a water pipe 3 for supplying low methane-concentration water W to the plurality of injection pipes 27, 28 for injection; and a lifting pipe 4 for lifting water W' in the water collection rooms 25.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
