REINFORCING STRUCTURE AND REINFORCING METHOD OF INTERMEDIATE RESTRICTING REINFORCEMENT FOR REINFORCING BRIDGE PIER AGAINST EARTHQUAKE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily dispose intermediate restricting reinforcements according to the shape of the side surfaces of an existing skeleton.;SOLUTION: This reinforcing structure of a bridge pier 1 is constructed by restraining band reinforcements 4 horizontally disposed on the existing skeleton 120 by the intermediate restraining reinforcements 5 inserted into drilled holes 12A horizontally extending through the existing skeleton 120, and placing a polymer cement mortar 6 around the outer surfaces of the intermediate restraining reinforcements 5, the band reinforcements 4, and the existing skeleton 120. The intermediate restraining reinforcement 5 is formed by vertically bending both ends of a set of upper and lower reinforcements 51, 52 which are inserted into the drilled holes 12A and which extend through the existing skeleton 120 and connecting the ends (side parts 51a, 51b, 52a, 52b) of the both reinforcements 51, 52 to each other at the bent vertical portions.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
