PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an omnidirectional earthquake resistance reinforcing method of a pier capable of making both ends of an abutment and each T-type pier tensibly connect by connecting materials in a cross-shape without reinforcing the pier with a proof stress structure and an earthquake resistance reinforcing structure.;SOLUTION: In the existing bridge 1 consisting of the T-type pier 3 as a lower structure erected between the abutments 2 and a bridge girder 4 as an upper structure supported on the T-type pier 3, and equipped with connecting means respectively tensibly connecting both upper side ends of the abutment 2 and the T-type pier 3 with the connecting materials 8 on diagonal lines.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
