PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fire-resisting joint material 1, which can back up a sealing material 4 capable of securing sufficient water-tightness, and exhibit sufficient fire resisting/flame shielding performance, and a fire-resisting and watertight structure 2 for an outer wall joint using the fire-resisting joint material 1.;SOLUTION: The fire-resisting joint material 1 to be pressed deeply into the joint between outer wall panels 3 from the outdoor side to back up the sealing material 4 filled in the joint includes a backup portion 11 formed in a strip-shape with a width smaller than the joint width of the joint, on which the sealing material 4 abuts; a connecting portion 12 provided along the lateral center of the backup portion 11 so as to protrude toward the indoor side; and a fire-resisting portion 13 containing a thermally expansible fire-resisting material 16, the fire-resisting portion being fixed to the indoor side of the connecting portion 12, being formed to have a width larger than the joint width of the joint, having elasticity, and being curved within the joint with the end portion thereof being held and fixed between the edge of the backup portion 11 and the end surface 3a of each outer panel 3.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
