PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To safely determine welding of a relay, in an electric power source controller for a construction machine.;SOLUTION: This electric power source controller 3 is interposed with a series circuit L1 of a relay SW1 and a current-limiting resistor R1, and a relay SW2 bypassing the series circuit L1, in one electric power source line 31 connecting a battery 2 to a load 4, and is provided also with a series circuit L2 of a relay SW3 and a current-limiting resistor R2, and a relay SW4 bypassing the series circuit L2, in the other electric power source line 32. A control circuit 34 determines the presence of the welding in each of the load direct-connecting relays SW4, SW2, using the series circuits L1, L2, based on voltage detection results thereof, when starting electric power source supply to the load 4, and is transited thereafter to a usual electric power source supply state for turning the relays SW4, SW2 on. The presence of the welding in each of the direct-connecting relays SW4, SW2 is safely determined thereby without generating an eddy current when started up.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
