PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hospital information system for determining the conditions of patients waiting for unoccupied beds at a glance, and for smoothly performing the assignment operation of the unoccupied beds. PSOLUTION: This system includes: sickroom attribute setting information 572 in which the attributes of sickrooms are registered; sickbed attribute setting information 574 in which the attributes of sickbeds are registered; sickbed condition setting information 576 in which items to be considered as the conditions of the sickbed determination of hospitalized patients and patients to be hospitalized are registered; and a bed control means 430 for creating the situations of in-hospital sick wards, sickrooms and sickbeds by using the sickroom attribute setting information 572, sickbed attribute setting information 574, and sickbed condition setting information 576, and for displaying them in the form of a list.
