PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the discomfort or burdens given to a subject; and to reliably sample a sufficient amount of specimen.;SOLUTION: A specimen sampler 1 is provided including: an absorber 2a which can be inserted into/detached from a body cavity; and discharge means 4, 5 which are detachably fixed in the rear in the direction of inserting the absorber 2a and discharge cleaning fluid A from a discharge port 4a arranged in front in the direction of inserting the absorber 2a.
