PSOLUTION: A lithium ion battery pack management device includes: cell controllers 4 that monitors cell states such as voltages and temperatures of the lithium ion cells 2 and adjusts charge voltages of the lithium ion cells 2 so as to be within prescribed values; single battery packs 5 which are installed at every single battery pack 3, analyze the cell states received from the cell-controllers 4 in the single battery packs 3, and monitor and analyze the states of the single battery packs such as charging currents and discharging current of the single battery packs 3; charging switches 6 which are installed at every single battery pack 3 and connect/disconnect a charge power supply and the single battery packs 3; and discharging switches 7 which are installed at every single battery pack 3 and connect/disconnect a load facility and the single battery packs 3.
