PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow to grasp an entire amount of a range close to desired contents in a retrieval result, and a ratio of an already investigated range to the entire amount.;SOLUTION: An investigation support system includes: a first range feature determination means 41 which estimates a target range of investigation and extracts features which semantically classify the range, to generate a first feature list; a second range feature determination means 42 which obtains a range already investigated by the user and extracts features which semantically classify the range, to generate a second feature list; and a deficient range determination means 43 which obtains a range of deficient investigation by obtaining difference between the first feature list and the second feature list.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
