PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately estimate un-investigated area information while suppressing the number of investigating areas or a travelling distance actually to be executed by an investigator, by reducing possibility of erroneous classification without preparing learning data in advance.;SOLUTION: In the area investigation support method, a terminal unit connected to a network and the area investigation support device are provided to transmit a recommended route to the terminal unit by the area investigation support device, and the area investigation support device accepts investigation information and positional information of the spatially continued areas which are assumed to have the same attribute information, from the terminal unit, and from the investigation information and positional information of the area, image data of un-investigated area are acquired from the pre-stored image data base and the attribute information of the un-investigated area is estimated from the investigated information and the image data to calculate an accuracy parameter of the estimated attribute information, and the estimated attribute information, the calculated accuracy parameter, and shape information and positional information of the area are acquired to calculate the recommended route for the investigation.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
