PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin-filled ferrite carrier core material, capable of maintaining high charging capability over a long period while maintaining advantages of a resin-filled carrier, and providing a high image quality, and reducing image defects, a ferrite carrier, and an electrophotographic developer using the ferrite carrier. PSOLUTION: The resin-filled ferrite carrier core material for electrophotographic developer is composed of a porous ferrite particle, the composition of the porous ferrite particle being represented by formula (1), wherein part of (MgO) and/or (FeSB2/SBOSB3/SB) is substituted by SrO.
