NUCLEAR POWER PLANT WITH BOILING WATER REACTOR AND LEAK AND HYDROSTATIC TEST METHOD FOR REACTOR PRESSURE VESSEL

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nuclear power plant with a boiling water reactor that facilitates a leak and hydrostatic test on a reactor pressure vessel, even if the control temperature of coolant is high during the leak and hydrostatic test on the reactor pressure vessel. PSOLUTION: In the nuclear power plant 1 with the boiling water reactor, a pipe 9 in a reactor clean-up system 8 is connected to a pipe 34 in a residual heat removal system connected to the reactor pressure vessel 2. A regenerative heat exchanger 10, a non-regenerative heat exchanger 11, a clean-up system pump 12, and a reactor water clean-up device 13 are provided in the pipe 9 in the clean-up system. A bypass pipe 16 provided with a heat exchanger 15 is connected to the pipe 9 in the clean-up system so as to bypass the regenerative heat exchanger 10 downstream from the reactor water clean-up device 13. During the leak and hydrostatic test on the reactor pressure vessel 2, the cooling water cleaned up by the reactor water clean-up device 13 is heated by the steam supplied from a house boiler 23 in the heat exchanger 15 and is supplied to the reactor pressure vessel 2 by way of feedwater piping 30.
