PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simulation device for a numerically controlled machine tool for achieving a simulation method for enabling even an unexperienced operator to predict the situation of a processed surface, and to easily select appropriate processing conditions for processing them into his or her desired surface shape.;SOLUTION: A processing simulation device 1 includes: a work shape display part 8 for three-dimensionally graphic-displaying a processed work shape; and a surface shape calculation part 14 for calculating the processed work surface shape on the basis of relevant to tool shape relevant information relevant to the shape of a tool and processing speed relevant information relevant to the working speed of the tool.
