PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for heating a cathode of a magnetron, capable of favorably shortening the time of preheating the magnetron. PSOLUTION: The device for heating a cathode of magnetron includes: a heater 26; an electrical current detector 22; and a controlling part 27. The heater 26 heats a cathode of the magnetron 25 by Joule heat. The electrical current detector 22 detects an electrical current value of a heater electrical current flowing in the heater 26. The controlling part 27 determines completion of preheating of the magnetron 25 based on an amount of change in electrical current value of the heater electrical current. PCOPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
