PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide footwear for correcting hallux valgus which applies a proper correcting force to the hallux valgus and assists the formation of the normal foot bone.;SOLUTION: A first inner side belt piece 10 which is fixed at one end to the inner circumferential upper edge (near the side of the hallux) on the top face of a footwear sole and a first outer side belt piece 20 which is fixed at one end to the outer circumferential upper edge (near the side of the little toe) on the top face of the footwear sole are tied up while adjusting the size of the play at the tip of the toe to cover the digits of the foot of a user. One end of a hallux corrective belt 30 is fixed to a portion on the top face of the footwear sole, where the inner crotch of the normally shaped hallux is supposed to be positioned and the other end is guided from the rear side to the front side of the first inner side belt piece 10 penetrating a through-hole 11. The other end of the hallux corrective belt 30 is pulled while adjusting so that a proper tension is applied on the hallux valgus of the user towards the corrective direction (opposite direction to the valgus direction) and latched in the pulled position.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
