PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a growth promotor of epidermis cornification cells against the progress of aging phenomena such as the cornification of skin by aging, etc., by using a substance having the epidermis cornification cell growth promotor activity as an active ingredient, promoting the proliferation of the epidermis cornification cells by the active ingredient, recovering the metabolic function of the skin and preventing the aging phenomena of the skin such as the cornification of the skin, etc.;SOLUTION: This growth promotor of the epidermis cornification cells is provided by containing arbutin as an active ingredient. The growth promotor of the epidermis cornification cells can be produced by using the arbutin as the active ingredient and blending the same by 0.01 to 20 wt.% content based on the whole amount of the growth promotor of the epidermis cornification cells. Also, the growth promotor of the epidermis cornification cells can be prepared as a skin preparation for external use by blending the arbutin with a preparation adjuvant and a stabilizer.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
